Oregon Humane Society's pawsitively awesome van!
Oregon Humane Society's van carries a special message.
It was a dog gone good time! Oregon Pet Sitters Association participates in The 2004 Bark in the Park, which is now a part of Portland's Rose Festival. People arrived to walk their dogs to help sheltered animals, and enjoyed other activities such as contests, games and visiting booth of pet services and products.
Our association was there to hand out industry information and to be there to answer questions. This event was fun!
Schroeder also had a booth at this event, he came to let dogs know about his great dog daycare in Hillsboro. We were glad he stopped by to say hello.
Oregon Pet Sitters Association would like to give our thanks to Julie and her fuzzy client friend Jake who helped at our booth.
Oregon Pet Sitters Association would like to give our thanks to Peg for taking time out of her busy pet sitting schedule to talk to pet owners about the pet sitting industry.
Always watching out for the public.
Oregon Pet Sitters Association would like to give our thanks to Jenny for all of her help in preparing the booth and materials for this event, and also for taking the time to come man the booth on Saturday.
Oregon Pet Sitters Association would like to give our thanks to Dolores for coming all the way up from Salem to help with our booth. She also contributed wonderful treats that were gone in minutes after they were put on the table.
It was sunny and beautiful! Molly, a beautiful Australian Shepherd came to visit our booth and take a break from the sun.
Oregon Pet Sitters Association would like to give our thanks to Dave and his dog Trooper who also helped at our booth. They also walked the event in support of the sheltered animals.
Jager came to the Bark in the Park to support shelter dogs and kitties that aren't as fortunate as he is.
Oregon Pet Sitters Association would like to give our thanks to Denise who helped at our booth. We are proud to have her as our newest member. She also has incorporated the T-Touch into her business.
Taking down the tire...good job Jag!
Thanks Pam, you made us feel right at home.
Okay so it is obvious we like a dog in uniform!
Oregon Pet Sitters Association participated at The 17th Annual Doggie Dash 2004 at Portland's Waterfront Park, on Saturday May 15th. The event caters entirely to dogs and their owners and is held to benefit Oregon Humane Society. The K103 Doggie Dash includes a two-mile run and walk, dog contests and activities, and the Barking Lot. The Barking Lot provides dog lovers with an opportunity to see the latest products and services available for their pets.
Oregon Pet Sitters Association makes great efforts to let pet owners know about the services Oregon's pet sitting industry has to offer.
The Doggie Dash was a lot of fun even though the weather was not what we had hoped for. Our flyers were stuffed in dash participant's bags and our booth was a popular attraction. We answered LOTS of questions about pet sitting, and we handed out almost three hundred business cards through our doggie treat gift baggies.
The most commonly asked question at our booth was "What does a professional pet sitter do exactly?" Oregon Pet Sitters Association hopes to increase public awareness of our industry by using opportunites like this to answer questions about pet sitting.
Oregon Pet Sitters Association would like to give our thanks to Jennifer for all of her help in preparing our printed materials and also for taking the time to come help us at the booth on Saturday.
Oregon Pet Sitters Association would like to give our thanks to Rie for all of her help at the booth on Saturday.
Thank you to our two young helpers who kept the brochure stands filled and the doggie bowls filled with delicious treats for our canine visitors.
Oregon Pet Sitters Association would like to give our thanks to Jenny for all of her help in preparing printed materials for this event, and also for taking the time to come man the booth on Saturday.
